  1. The State of North Carolina has established the North Carolina Public Employee Deferred Compensation Plan, a qualified governmental Deferred Compensation Plan under Internal Revenue Code § 401(k), 403(b), and 457(b) for public employees of North Carolina.
  2. Blue Ridge Community College has adopted the North Carolina Public Employee Deferred Compensation Plan also known as “NC Deferred Comp” under the terms of the Plan Document and the Third-Party-Administrator Agreement.
  3. Only full-time employees are eligible to defer compensation into the 401(k) plan.
  4. All employees are eligible to defer compensation in the 403(b) and/or 457(b) plan.
