Faculty at Blue Ridge Community College are under the direct supervision of the department chairperson. See Appendix B for a printable Support & Resources information sheet and a printable Semester Checklist sheet.

Department Chairperson

A faculty member’s greatest resource is the department chair. The chairperson can provide valuable information about classroom strategies, resources, training, etc. Any problem or concern should be broached with the department chair first. In the department chair’s absence, the department dean provides the same support. See Appendix C for office and phone numbers.
