6.12.1 Academic Freedom and Responsibility

  1. Faculty members will conduct themselves within the boundaries of the law as established by the North Carolina General Statutes.
  2. Faculty members should use their best judgment as to appropriate material in developing and implementing course material.
  3. Faculty members should use their best judgment in conducting classes and in interactions with other members of the College community.
  4. Any questions concerning the parameters of academic freedom at the College should be addressed to the President or a designee.
