The Trustees of Blue Ridge Community College (“Trustees”) shall constitute the local administrative Board of the College and are hereby vested to exercise all of the powers and duties as prescribed in Chapter 115D of the North Carolina General Statutes and as authorized by the North Carolina State Board of Community Colleges (“State Board”).
- As a body corporate, the Trustees are authorized to do all things necessary and proper to organize and operate Blue Ridge Community College (“College”) consistent with laws and State Board rules and regulations. The Trustees hereby delegate their authority to elect or employ College personnel to the President.
- The Board of Trustees hereby incorporate by reference the Blue Ridge Community College Board of Trustees Bylaws, which shall take precedent over any policy or procedure adopted by the Trustees or College.
- The Trustees will evaluate its responsibilities and expectations on an annual basis.
