Faculty Workload
Faculty workload consists of responsibilities related to learning facilitation, institutional service, and professional development. (See BRCC Policies and Procedures 6.2.1.).
The faculty member’s workload may vary by position, from term to term, and by department. A faculty member whose workload does not fall within the required range shall establish a plan with the appropriate chair, dean, and the Vice President for Instruction.
Workloads for adjunct faculty shall be assigned on a semester-by-semester basis as need dictates. Class load assignments should be limited to no more than twenty nine (29) total work hours per week.
